Hi guys, Happy New Year!
Hope you all had an amazing holiday season! Mine was spent with family in town and my grandparents got married!
Let me break it down for you. My grandparents have been divorced for 30+ years. They remarried and their spouses have both passed away. WELL, this Christmas, they were both in town and apparently fell in love again and I got to witness my grandparents get married (AGAIN) last week! How nuts! Someone call Lifetime or Hallmark for me.
Ok, back to green beauty. The Detox Market released a 'Best of Green Beauty' box in December and knocked it out of the park! The box features 10 outstanding products in the clean and green beauty world. There were a couple of products that I've tried before (and love!). But a lot of these products were new to me! Which I loved trying.
Here we go!
Odacite Green Ceremony Cleanser: This product was so cool. It comes in a powder form that you activate by adding a few drops of water. It foams up like maggggggic. It's detoxifying and my skin feels super clean and clear after using it! This cleanser is super different than what I've tried before! $55 value - full size
David's Natural Toothpaste: I freaking love this toothpaste. It has a thicker consistency, similar to conventional toothpaste. That was important to my husband. There aren't any sulfates, artificial colors/flavors or fluoride. That's important to me! It's removes plaque, whitens teeth and keeps your breath minty fresh. David's Toothpaste has been a repeat purchase for me. $7.95 value - full size
Rahua Classic Shampoo and Conditioner: I like this duo. My scalp feels clean which I feel is rare in the green beauty world - at least for me. It has ingredients to revitalize your hair and leave it super soft. It is scented with Palo Santo wood oils. Which I love, but it is a little too earthy of a smell for me. I will continue to use it because it does feel good on my scalp and hair! $16.50 value - travel size set
Josh Rosebrook Hydrating Accelerator: This mist by Josh Rosebrook is like 3 products wrapped up in one. Mr. Rosebrook describes it as being a hydrator, a toner and even a light moisturizer. The benefits of this mist are endless. I shall name a few: it helps calm irritated skin, can help with eczema, helps soothe skin, hydrates skin, brightens skin and reduces redness. I like to spritz my face with this mist after cleansing and then I apply my moisturizer while my skin is still a little damp. $20.00 value - travel size
Lily Lolo Natural Vegan Black Mascara: This mascara is a lash favorite and for good reason. It was definitely my first favorite green mascara. It's long-lasting, it lengthens and is just a really great mascara in general. I've repurchased this mascara many times and it will continue to be a staple for me! $20.00 value - full size
RMS Vintage Cake Liner in Dark Black: This product from RMS was new to me. It's a black pressed liner. I love that it comes in a handy compact, perfect for on-the-go. It also can be used as a matte eyeshadow- it just wouldn't be super pigmented as a shadow. To use, you take a damp angled brush and mix it into the pan to form a paste and there's your liner. I also like to use it to go over an eyeliner pencil to set it and forget it! $24.00 value - full size
MV Skincare Rose Soothing & Protective Moisturizer: Makeup artists from all over the world love and this moisturizer because it's THAT good and it's ideal for sensitive skin. It's definitely a very luxurious product. But again, with this Best of Green Beauty Box only being $149, you get such a great deal! I've been reaching for this moisturizer a lot lately! Especially with it being so freaking cold the last couple weeks! It definitely has helped my skin stay hydrated during the bitter cold that we're having in North Carolina! $135.00 value - full size
The Beauty Chef Collagen Inner Beauty Boost: I love this stuff! It's a probiotic elixir that is packed full of collagen and vitamins as well as organic maqui berry and zinc. Granted, I haven't taken it long enough to see the incredible perks, like stronger nails, smoother skin or healthier hair and gut. But it tastes like grape kool-aid and I'm all about that. I add it to water, drink it up and let my body reap those benefits! I'm definitely buying a full size asap. $16.00 value - travel size
Soapwalla Sensitive Skin Deodorant Cream: First of all, this deodorant smells amazing. I have it in lavender mint and it's so nice and refreshing. It's baking soda free so those with sensitive armpits, rejoice!! I had no irritation at all! It kept me smelling fresh all day. $16.00 value - full size
This box retails for $149 (and is a $300+ value!). Did I mention how good of a deal this is?! Again, this amazing box is limited edition and won't last long. So I would jump on it!
Have you tried any products from this box?!
Hope you guys have a great rest of the weekend!
