Happy Tuesday, friends!
We're inching closer to Christmas! Goodness gracious. I better finish up this post so I can finish Amazon Priming.
I don't know about you, but I do not like the cold. The wind chills, the dry skin, my cute outfits being covered up by my giant coat and the chapped lips all make the winter months seem to last forever. That might have been a huge run-on sentence, but you get the idea.
I have a couple products that I'll keep handy to make sure my lips stay soft and hydrated during this awful time.
First things first. Ya gotta exfoliate those lippies! I love using Bambu Earth's Lip Sugar a few times a week. It has sugar (duhhhh) as one of the ingredients so it's coarse enough to get that dead skin off. But it's gentle enough to not rip your lips apart. How's that for mental image? I apply about a pea size to my lips and gently rub it all over. Then I take a warm washcloth and wipe it off. Viola! Soft, kissable mistletoe ready lips!
After I exfoliate my lips, I grab my Lux Organic Lip Conditioner by Vapour Beauty. I originally bought this balm solely to keep it on my nightstand to apply right before bed. But it hasn't left my purse since I purchased it. It's so freaking moisturizing (and smells amazing too!). It might be small - but it sure is mighty. It has 9 ingredients and they're all incredible. There's jojoba oil, beeswax and coconut oil - to name a few. I apply this several times during the day. Especially if you're going to be rockin' a bold lip - you'll need to moisturize! Flakey, cracked lipstick is THE WORST.
Now all you need is lipstick! I have a few red lipsticks (#greenbeautyhoarder). But I just got this one by 100 Percent Pure called Sonora. It's a bright matte orangey, red - perfect for Christmas! Pair it with some winged eyeliner - hello!
That's all for today, friends! Short, sweet and to the point!
I hope you all have an amazing holiday!
